MAGIX receives the “Reconnu d’Intérêt Pédagogique” distinction

Berlin/Paris, July 4, .2011: MAGIX has been involved in educational projects for many years by organizing training sessions and creating software packages specifically for educators and students.

Recently, MAGIX has been awarded the prestigious “RIP” (“Reconnu d’intérêt pédagogique”) by the French Ministry for Education for the outstanding quality of its “Academic Suite 3” software.

This suite is comprised of three of the best products from the Berlin-based manufacturer. The package enables users to unleash their creativity in the three main areas of multimedia: video with MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus, music with MAGIX Music Maker 17 and photo with MAGIX Photo & Graphic Designer 6. This award is testament to MAGIX’s know-how in the educational multimedia field.

The purpose of this award is to help teachers choose learning materials from the range available in the field of educational multimedia.

This logo certifies that the software has made a positive contribution to education. Just which packages and multimedia projects should bear the logo is debated by teaching staff and experts, and a multimedia committee makes the final decision based on the arguments.

All multimedia software manufacturers and publishers in France and other European countries are eligible to receive this award. Following a decision from the multimedia committee, products which fulfil specific educational criteria are bestowed the seal of approval.
