Sales conditions

The following groups of people are entitled to purchase and use MAGIX Academic Suite MX / Pro X:

Single workspace use eligibility:
Teachers, pupils, students and professors from general and vocational schools (state licensed), colleges, universities, technical schools and non-profit educational institutions.

Institutions eligible to use volume licenses (classroom licence):
General and vocational schools (state licensed), Chamber of Trade and Commerce professional training facilities,

Campus license eligibility:
Colleges, universities and non-profit educational institutions with academic degree programs.

Extension license eligibility:
Non-profit organizations with the following objectives:

  • Fighting poverty
  • Promoting education
  • Promoting social welfare
  • Promoting culture
  • Protecting the environment
  • Promoting health
  • Groups affiliated with the recognized religious communities

Note:

A copy of school ID for pupils and a confirmation of official enrollment for college students serve as sufficient proof. Teachers, professors and employees of educational institutions should confirm their positions with a copy of a photo ID and a document with a valid seal or original letterhead from the corresponding institution. School prices apply only for educational use.

Foundations whose funds benefit individual persons or a very limited circle of people are not entitled; on the other hand, companies that transfer their profits to organizations with educational goals on a contractual basis are entitled.

Additional notice:

The purchase of a so-called volume license (including a classroom, school or campus license) entitles you to use the products simultaneously on as many computers as you have purchased licenses for. Notwithstanding this, you may install the products on an unlimited number of computers; simultaneous use, however, will be limited to the number of purchased licenses. If you install the products on more computers than you have purchased licenses for, you will have to purchase additional volume license codec packages for the number of computers that go beyond the number of purchased licenses.
